To say I got an overwhelming feeling of jealousy when I saw the rubber band ball (left) at the Artist Against Hunger event would be an understatement.
Brandon Barta spent 15 years building this ball, which now weighs 215 pounds and is two inches in diameter.
It started off as an art bead the size of a green pea and slowly turned into the largest rubber band ball my eyes have ever seen.
I, myself, am somewhat of a rubber band ball enthusiast. I started mine (right) in 2006 and have it the size of a softball now.
But I can take some solace in knowing that mine is all rubber, no bead.
